Capt. Steve Miller is a full time resident of Block Island. He started running his family boat at age six off Long Island,
New York, was apprentice mate on the Captain Lou party boat at age eight, joined the U.S. Coast Guard at age seventeen, fished
commercially in his twenties, and has held a 100 ton Master Captain's License from the Coast Guard for a number of years.
Capt. Steve has fished in Mexico, Hawaii, Barbados, Costa Rica, The Virgin Islands (British and U.S.), Cape Hatteras, N.C.,
and, of course, from Block Island for over twenty years. He has been charter fishing from Block Island since the late nineties.
